spray paint and wine bottles

Sometimes you just need a little update to your space to make your feel refreshed but sometime there just isn’t the budget for anything big. That’s why I love taking something you disregarded and turning it into something beautiful. For example wine or beer bottles. Kate from The Small Things Blog  put a different spin on a spray painted bottle. She stuck on scrap booking stickers (with some volume) before painting and made a chic one of a kind vase.

To add more overall texture Cleverly Inspired rolled her bottles in Epsom salt and let dry. Get more detailed directions here.

Another fun twist on it is taking a 4 (or 6 pack) of bottles and cover the holder with some fun pattern paper to make it a whole set for someone.  This quirky idea is from The Colorful Living Project.
